Nutmegthe Squirrel

Nutmeg is a chestnut-brown squirrel with a fluffy cream belly, tiny tufted ears, and the biggest bushy tail in the whole forest. Her mustard-yellow cowl was a gift from Beatrice, and she almost never takes it off.

She's warm-hearted and generous. Every autumn Nutmeg gathers acorns not just for herself, but to tuck into the paws of any friend who's feeling a little sad — a small brown token that says <em>you are thought of</em>.

Nutmeg is one of Millie's very first friends, introduced in <em>Millie the Mushroom Meets New Friends</em> (Book 1), and appears throughout the storybooks.
